Dems continue their push to be the party of tax cheats

Facebook Twitter Email Delicious Reddit Stumble

Democrats are following in lock step behind their leader Obama on every issue, a march which now appears to include an embrace of tax cheats; a crowd in ample supply throughout the Democrat Party. The latest evader, Scott Murphy, is running for the 20th District Congressional race as the official nominee of the Party and is hoping to win the seat previously held by now Senator Kirsten Gillibrand who replaced Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the Senate.

Murphy, a venture capitalist whose startup had tax liens of $21,000 which they then paid off five days late, sold the company and is now embracing the tried and true Democrat strategy of, “It’s the other guys responsibility now” to explain away his problems. Politico of course found that despite Murphy’s claims he held no responsibility the liens existed while he managed the company. They might not be his problem now but they were back when he ran the company and decided paying Uncle Sam wasn’t so important. Is it technically irony or just contempt when a tax and spender refuses to give their equal share to government?

Luckily Republicans & Conservatives sick and tired of hearing about tax cheating Democrats have the power to send a clear message and they seem poised to do so. Republican state Assembly Minority Leader Jim Tedisco won the Party nomination and newly elected national party leader Steele is ready to make this the first of many Republican victories post-Obama.

Tedisco couldn’t come at a better time as NY heads toward higher taxes and the Democrats in Congress are ready to waste billions in what they are falsly calling a “stimulus.” Democrats high on their recent wins need a knock out blow and Tedisco is just the man to do it. A newly elected Republican Senator from New York would help the fight against the “I won” diplomacy practiced by the Pelosi-Obama machine. Best of all, Tedisco is a winner and coming from a district where voters share the conservative principals of freedom and individual responsibility that historically put the rest of our state at odds with the downstate liberals.

Right now Tedisco is looking for signs of life in the Republican party not just in New York but around the nation and we need to help him out and get one seat closer to preventing Nancy Pelosi from stealing our wages. I urge you now and will continue to urge you to donate to the Tedisco campaign, to connect with them on Twitter and show your support on Facebook. $20 doesn’t sound like too much to save the 20th from being run by one more tax cheat and give our cause a fresh victory in 2009.
