I have no idea WHY it took NY-20th Republican candidate Jim Tedisco so long to announce a position on the stimulus but in the end he took the right one. With the issues surrounding AIG’s bailout we have a glimpse of our future; a world where government billions have been carelessly handed out with almost no oversight and under the guise of saving the Republic. Now that Obama has announced what John McCain declared oh so many moons ago, that the fundamentals of the economy are strong (fundamentals meaning, you know, capitalism and all those other businesses that aren’t raping the taxpayer & consumers) we know that the stimulus & the bailout were like a chainsaw affixed to a jackhammer screaming at a thousand miles an hour atop a nuclear warhead launched to drive a nail into dry wall.
Jim, next time don’t take so long to come out on the right side of an issue. Also, take a look at your district and MAYBE talk a little about Obama’s plan to usurp the second amendment. You know, it is kind of an important issue, especially to the people of the 20th.
