North Korea has launched new nuclear capable missiles while testing a nuclear device equal to Hiroshima underground.
Luckily we have Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State who has been spending her days working on international relations and breaking ground with North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba and the rest of our hostile world. JUST KIDDING, this week her big initiative was to announce partners of gay State Department employees would get benefits. The problem of course is deciding who would qualify for such benefits. Why is it hard? Because currently the federal government does not recognize marriage that is not between a man and a woman. You know, DOMA, the law her HUSBAND signed and Hillary herself supported.
Do I think a person can do two things at once? Sure, but the move is a political one in a time of crisis. We are facing mounting opposition from al Qaeda, a destabilizing Pakistan, a United Nations that is forever deadlocked thanks to China and Russia and not to mention the problem of new nations going nuclear.
These are serious times and we with Pelosi calling the CIA liars, Obama giving in to Muslim extremists on War criminals and Clinton spending the first few months of her stay at State worrying about things like this, I have to wonder if anyone in this administration is thinking about the defense of this nation.
