Third Quarter fundraising numbers are in for the republican GOP nomination and I have a breakdown below.
In the third quarter it took all of the Republican candidates combined ($52,862,115) to beat President Obama ($40,827,453). Texas Governor Rick Perry raised the most ($17M+) and former Governor Mitt Romney came in second with almost $14M.
Ron Paul hauled in a whopping $8M+. Despite grabbing headlines Herman Cain only raised close to $3M though it will be interesting to see if that number spikes in the fourth quarter.

Total Cash on Hand

Going into the fourth quarter Rick Perry has the most cash on hand, Mitt Romney once again comes in a close second. Ron Paul lead the remaining candidates with $3 million.
Tim Pawlenty exited the 2012 Republican race in August and endorsed Mitt Romney. Looking at his fundraising numbers it is easy to see why. He left the race with only $20,000+ cash on hand and raised only a couple hundred thousand dollars in the third quarter.
Total Money Raised

Mitt Romney tops the Republican field by a wide margin. Of note, President Barack Obama has raised more money ($89.4M) than all of the Republican candidates in this list combined ($89.1M) .
