Despite revelations of past sexual harassment allegations, Herman Cain now ties Mitt Romney as leader of the republican GOP candidates according to the latest polling by Gallup. Both candidates received 21% while Newt Gingrich come in as their closest competitor at 12%. The poll was conducted from November 2nd – 6th.
The results represent a rise for Cain who was trailing Romney, 18% to 20% in early October. The poll also shows the collapse of Texas Governor Rick Perry who topped the poll with a high of 31% in early September but now trails in fourth place with 11%.
