The New York primaries were held July 26th 2012 providing results on elections from NYC to Buffalo and every district in between. The elections decided which candidates would be running for the House of Representatives from New York in 2012.
New York traditionally holds primaries in September but a federal judge moved the congressional primary to June to comply with a U.S. law requiring military personnel serving overseas to get ballots at least 45 days before the November general election. That resulted in New York holding three seperate primaries this year and an very large drop in turnout for yesterdays Congressional vote.
There were only a handful of contested primaries for Republicans. Below are the results.

New York 1st - Randy Altschuler became the defacto candidate when opponent George Demos dropped out.
