We the taxpayers have handed $4 Billion more to General Motors. PLEASE can we end the bleeding already and just let this thing die?

OK if you haven’t seen the government, unhappy with restructuring plans, has told the CEO of General Motors to resign. If you cannot guess, I was against the bailout, request from a private entity, against the government granting a bailout to a business that should have faced bankruptcy & restructuring instead, against this descent into socialist control of business, banks and more.

Why? Because this is what happens, government starts telling business what it can and cannot do. All I will say is, told you so, told you so, told you so, told you so.

This is just the beginning, when government takes over the private sector they begin making demands and decisions. The government is never a silent partner, it never lends money without caveats and it will turn on any institution when the winds of public opinion change or when it just plain wants something.
